Meet Red Root
Jessica MAAREK, Founder and CEO
Jessica grew up in Wisconsin, lived in France for 6 years and has been on the East Coast with her family for over 18 years. In Paris, Jessica was Quality Control Manager in a business language school and quickly learned how to market the courses being taught by over 70 teachers to C-Suite executives in companies such as Nestle, Perrier, Societe Generale and AIG, among many others.
Jessica became Event Coordinator at The Fine Grind Coffee Bar in 2009 where she orchestrated a full-scale guerrilla marketing campaign and this experience gradually led her to connect with other small, local businesses as a PR, Marketing and Social Media consultant.
Red Root Marketing was founded in 2013 as Jessica saw a huge need in the small business community: small business owners need someone with marketing know-how to connect them to their potential customers without breaking the bank, through grassroots and hyperlocal means. Using events and social media to efficiently and effectively bring awareness to local businesses is Jessica's passion.
